The problem
Moving accounting and inventory is more than transferring opening balances. Elisha needed the day-to-day operating model to move with the data: people needed to work from phones, banking activity needed to reach the books, and recurring transaction patterns needed consistent matching rules.
A migration that moved records without rebuilding those working links would leave the team reconciling the new system by hand after go-live.
The solution
Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory were configured as the connected financial and stock system, with a mobile workflow for the people using it away from a desk. Banking integration brings transaction activity into the accounting process.
Automatic matching rules apply the team's repeatable criteria to routine bank transactions, while exceptions remain visible for review. The migration therefore covers the records, the access pattern and the reconciliation workflow together.
