Bring every production detail together.

The problem

A production plan changes packing requirements, staffing and pay at the same time. Required supplies depend on the product, its preparation, quantities, crew size, duration and what equipment the location already has.

Pay introduces a separate rule set for working hours, overtime, night work, travel direction and calendar exceptions. Copying a previous packing list or multiplying days by a rate cannot capture all of those interactions.

The solution

The platform derives packing lists from production items, supply rules, crew provisions and location equipment. Staff see the requirements update from the production data instead of maintaining a second manual list.

Shift calculations combine day rates, overtime, travel and supplements, with rate snapshots available to preserve historical billing. Label ranges connect a public serial-number lookup to the relevant production while returning only the public-facing details.

The decisions behind it

Requirements are derived
Product rules, crew needs and the site's existing equipment all contribute to the packing list. A change to the plan should flow through to its requirements.
Pay rules interact
A travel day and a working day can overlap, with different treatment by travel direction and calendar context. Those cases need explicit rules.
Public traceability, limited disclosure
A serial lookup can confirm production details without exposing the internal staffing, pay and expense records behind it.
WHAT IT BRINGS TOGETHER
  • Production and crew scheduling
  • Packing lists and expenses
  • Public product serial lookup
