Nedarim public demo in Hebrew with pledge entry and a live fundraising display
Nedarim's public interactive demo shows pledge entry beside the audience display, in Hebrew with fictional sample data.

The problem

During a fundraising event, the team entering pledges and the audience watching the total need a consistent view. Pledges can arrive in several currencies, require approval and trigger public recognition. Staff-only contact details must not travel with those public updates.

A projector and a room of phones create a different load from one office screen. Recalculating the event separately for every viewer would repeat the same work as the audience grows.

The solution

Nedarim retains the original pledge amount alongside its value in the event's currency, so totals and celebrations use a consistent basis. Approval controls what is published, and public data queries omit internal contact details and review notes.

The live display computes updated figures once per change and distributes them to connected viewers, with deliberate reconnection behaviour after interruptions. Staff entry, sponsor content and audience recognition stay coordinated. The recorded amounts are pledges, distinct from payment collection.

The decisions behind it

Many currencies, one event total
The original amount remains available while the event uses a common currency for its totals and recognition thresholds.
One change, many viewers
Shared calculations and streamed updates avoid repeating the same totals query for every audience screen.
Public celebration, private administration
Approval and restricted public fields separate what the room sees from the contact details and internal notes staff need.
WHAT IT BRINGS TOGETHER
